What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that uses gentle hand movements to guide the flow of energy through the body. The goal is to reduce stress, promote full-body wellness, and improve the flow and balance of energy including the Chakras.

When the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) is activated,
it slows our heart and breathing rates, lowers blood pressure and promotes digestion.
Our body enters a state of relaxation, and this relaxation breeds recovery.
The more time we spend in a PSNS state, the healthier we are.
What to Expect
DURING YOUR REIKI SESSION
Using gentle hand movements, I will assess areas of the body that are out of balance and guide the flow of healthy energy, or "life force energy", through the body. During this time, we will talk about any issues you have been experiencing that have manifested into bodily dis-ease or disharmony.
The session is done by placing my hands within the energy field of the body up to a few inches just above it. I use a touch-free method of Reiki, starting at the head and working down to the feet, focusing on particular areas of the body where needed.
Client's experience feelings of relaxation, energy movement, tingling, warmth and a general overall feeling of mild euphoria.

AFTER YOUR REIKI SESSION
Reiki energy remains active for approximately 3 days after a session, continuing to heal. Very often client's also experience a mild to intense release of stored emotions. This means, you may suddenly have a crying spell. This is a perfectly normal, common occurence and very beneficial!

DISTANCE REIKI is another option if you are unable to come in person. I am happy to explain how it works in a complimentary phone consultation.
